Bye Bye Barney…But Before You Go…….
Well, it’s time for Barney to say goodbye to New York and Jill. He is off to a very secret location for a top secret mission. We have been so honored to host him. He’s been here through mostly great times and a few rough nights. Most of the time spent here, Belle just played with him, but every now and then, I’d see Jill go over and sniff him. I hope she can feel all the strength and love he carries with him. Reading the journals that comes with Barney was very moving for me as I stated in my previous Barney post.
So, we still have a long journey in front of us and I wanted Jill to feel all the love the tripawds community has sent within the box that came with Barney. I wanted her to feel the strength of all the doggies that came before her. I scavenged through that box for each and everything that I could put on her so she could, maybe through osmosis, pull all that strength into her system. And here is my Jill, surrounded by all of that love.

Yo Jill–glad you had the chance to visit with the purple freakoid. That box is like a traveling shrine, carrying with it the memories and the love of the Tripawd Nation! Hey! Have you ever thought about becoming a model? ;)Ya look good in all those clothes. I couldn’t fit into any of ’em!

There are lots of hopes, dreams and wishes in that box of stank. If it’s possible to absorb it and be healed by it, a visit from Barney might be the ticket. And wearing all the stinky goodness certainly can’t hurt!
Jill, you’re way too kind. I’d hoped for a true scratch-the-eyes-out fest. At least you added a very unique smell to Barney!

OMD! When that box ends up in the paws of a dog they are going to be besides themselves with all the smells! I agree with Codie Rae, Jill is definitely model material.

You are protected from all the bad juju in the world now my sweetie, you can’t go wrong with dog hair, barney slobber and the Tripawds love.
Thank you so very much for showing Barney the thrill of a lifetime, I know it wasn’t easy having that purple beast in your crib.
We loved living vicariously through your adventures and seeing what life in the big bad city is all about!
