Introducing Dempsey!
The new baby has arrived!!! Â Little Dempsey arrived on Saturday. Â Her foster mom drove her down from Albany to my apartment in NYC. Â My parents were coming into the city on Sunday, so she got to spend one night in the zoo with Jack, Jill and Belle.
She came right out of the carrier and wanted to play! Â With Belle that is. Â Dempsey does not like other kitties. Â The only theory I have about this is that she was raised in a vet’s office for the first 5 months of her life and she just may have become more familiar with dogs. Â She isn’t mean to other cats, she’s just a little afraid at first. Â On Sunday, we brought her to her new furever home with my parents and Belle. Â Everything went great! Â We even had some snuggling.
We also brought her to the vet to be checked out and he said she is very healthy and was obviously very well taken care of. Â She is a teeny tiny 5 lbs, 5 oz. which is why she was at the vet for so long – her mom was brought in pregnant to a vet and gave birth to her there and they kept her until she was big and strong enough to go to foster care.
She is SO LOVING and so playful. Â She loves to explore around and loves to snuggle up. Â She is just a joy!

Awww how adorable. Thank you for sharing all the pictures and videos. Dempsey is such a little darling. I bet you didn’t want to give her up. Belle looks like she loves her sister and they are just about the same size. 🙂

OMD what a pawfect match! She and Belle are almost the exact same size, that is sooo adorable. Your folks look happy too.

Can’t stand it!!!! Waaaay too much cuteness going on!!!! Can NEVER have too many pictures of cuteness!
I’m soooooo glad for Dempsey and B elle too! Clearly Belle is loving having her as a playmate!
My connection js on and off right nkw, but I did at least get to see the videos with Belle playing with Dempsey using her gentle @little dancing paws! Itsw so jard to believe how little Belle is!!
And the one of these two playing i n the blankie next to your dad….OMC! Dempsey c@early feels at home and Belle clearly loves having a stuffy all her own to play with!

Dempsey… Rory’s mom apologizes for the naming error… but is so happy Dempsey seems to be fitting in well.
